Ms. Dawald

Welcome to Ms. Dawald's Class of 2017-2018! It has already been an exciting year, and I can't wait to see what will happen next! This is my eighth year at Santa Maria and tenth year in the district. I enjoy teaching and learning from the students each day. After all, each day is an adventure.
I  moved from cold Wisconsin to the heat of Arizona. It has been a crazy experience, but I am loving every minute of it! I grew up in a city called Eau Claire, Wisconsin and lived there with my three older brothers and parents until I left for college. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse with a degree in Middle Childhood-Early Adolescence with minors in Social Studies and Sociology. Currently, I teach Language Arts, which proves that you never know what to expect.  I love playing and watching sports, which I get from my older brothers. I am one of the athletic directors at Santa Maria and I also help coach here. i believe extra-curriculars help mold students. I am also a HUGE Packer football fan and love the Brewers. Watch out, This
year, the Packers are going to be a force to reckon with. :)
